When I hear the word anticipation, it makes me think of when the presents are under the tree but you can't open them until Christmas Day. Recently, I was anticipating finding out my grade on my Spanish quiz. Just sitting there in that quiet room, waiting, made minutes seem like eons. Everyone else was still working and that just made the waiting feel worse.
Anticipation helps me remember all those people who were waiting for the birth of Jesus and the people who are still waiting for Jesus to come. I think, God waits and anticipates us coming back to Him. He waits for more people to hear His word.
